So. I read this INCREDIBLE Persona 4 fanfiction on the badx2bathhouse where there’s fine print in the Velvet Room contract that states a Wild Card who fails to complete his journey becomes a denizen of the Velvet Room because they sign their soul over (which totally explains Elizabeth, Margaret, and Theodore). But the fine print is too tiny to read, and hey, people think they’re dreaming when they sign it.
So Souji dies midway through his journey and passes the Contractor’s key to Yosuke, who takes on his Persona Compendium and continues as the new leader.
When he enters his Velvet Room, a train, Igor’s assistant managing his compendium is a Souji-like man named Sebastian, who is the memory-wiped Souji whose soul is now connected to the Room.
Needless to say, I had to make a Velvet Room!Souji sprite edit, golden eyes, unnaturally pale hair and all. Haaaad to be done. ♥Edit: Here’s the fic for you guys.
